Next summer, kids will seek animals in rainforests, grasslands, frozen tundra, and even the Rocky Mountains with “In the Wild,” the 2019 Vacation Bible School.
Gas up the all-terrain vehicle and head out on a wilderness adventure like no other. Get up close and personal with elephants and egrets, polar bears and penguins, cockatoos and crocodiles, and so much more! Grab your camera and zoom in on these animals in their natural habitats. Maybe you can even snag a snapshot or two.
This summer kids will focus in on some amazing, real-life encounters with Jesus. Each encounter is like a snapshot—a specific moment in time captured on the pages of Scripture. Kids will discover that each snapshot of Jesus is an opportunity to respond to the gospel. And when put together, these isolated encounters clearly reveal the most amazing truth of all—Jesus Christ is the Messiah, the Son of God, and by believing we can have life in His name. Are you ready for an up close and personal encounter with Jesus? The adventure of a lifetime awaits!
“In the Wild” will have kids embark as photographers, seeking to snap pictures in settings decorated to mimic animals’ natural habitats. Along the way, kids will also learn about real-life encounters people had with Jesus and discover how biblical snapshots of the Savior provide an opportunity to respond to the gospel.
As kids explore different locales on the lookout for wildlife, they’ll also study eyewitness accounts of Jesus from the Gospels—stories to help them zoom in and focus on Christ.
